Concurrent programs

Important: Concurrent degree applications are completed entirely through your advisor. Do not submit an application in the Graduate School portal (unless you are changing your major).

What to Expect

  • Exploring options earlier = more possibilities.

  • Process and timeline are managed entirely by the advising team (no online application).

  • Review and approval process can take several weeks or longer.

  • The process may involve multiple revisions and back-and-forth communication.

  • You may be required to submit additional written materials and/or attend meetings with advising/admissions personnel.

Concurrent degree policies

  • Up to 20% of credits may double count (with approval).
