Recognition Nominated by the Smeal Community

Each fall, Penn State Smeal College of Business faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to nominate graduates for the college's alumni awards. Each award recognizes a distinct contribution to the Penn State Smeal community, including diversity and sustainability, professional achievement, and service to the college. The Smeal Alumni Society Board of Directors oversees the nomination and selection process.

• : Recognizes alumni whose professional or volunteer achievements advance diversity and inclusion.

• : Presented to alumni and friends who demonstrate exceptional leadership in advancing sustainable business strategy, management, and practice.

• : Celebrates alumni age 35 and under.

• : Honors alumni whose volunteer service has strengthened the Penn State Smeal College of Business community through sustained leadership and commitment.

• : Recognizes alumni whose professional accomplishments, leadership, and service have brought distinction to both their professions and Penn State Smeal College of Business. 

University & College Recognition

In addition to the Smeal alumni awards, Penn State and the college recognize outstanding achievement and service through additional award programs.

• Penn State Awards: The University recognizes alumni through individual, group, faculty, and staff awards, with a commitment to honoring alumni from diverse backgrounds.
