Sapphire Leadership Academic Program
A selective, four-year leadership experience built for high-achieving Smeal students who want more than a strong major.
Leadership Doesn't Begin After Graduation. It Begins Here.
The Sapphire Leadership Academic Program at Penn State Smeal College of Business is a structured, four-year pathway that runs alongside your major. Through a specialized leadership curriculum in small course sections, direct access to top business executives, and a close-knit cohort of peers, Sapphire builds the kind of intentional, year-by-year leadership development that sets graduates apart.
Each year builds on the last, giving you new opportunities to apply your strengths through leadership, service, and professional experiences. By graduation, you'll have practical experience and a stronger professional network to make an immediate impact in your career.
Your Four-Year Roadmap
Start Strong
