Corporate Social Responsibility & Activism

Research focused on how companies can incorporate sustainability and environmental activities into their businesses.

Social engagement and ethical firm behavior are increasingly a focus of employees, consumers, investors, and other stakeholders. Additionally, social entrepreneurs make responsible business the focus of new enterprises. Smeal researchers study the means by which firms engage in and report socially responsible activities and respond to activism demanding more sustainable businesses.
