Bachelor’s Degree Program

Featuring nine majors in areas such as finance, marketing, risk management, and supply chain and information systems, Smeal four-year bachelor’s degree programs cover critical areas of today’s modern business world and allow you to tailor your academic experience to your unique goals. Enhance your coursework by studying abroad in locations around the world; getting involved in more than 40 student-run organizations; and by connecting with top companies the hundreds of career fairs and corporate recruiting events held on campus each year.

Sapphire Leadership Academic Program

The Sapphire Leadership Academic Program is designed for high-achieving students who have been accepted to the Smeal College of Business and would like to enhance their business school experience.

Integrated Master of Accounting Program

The Integrated Master of Accounting Program offers Smeal students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting the opportunity to graduate in five years with a bachelor’s and master’s degree and the necessary credit-hours of education toward the CPA licensure exam.

Undergraduate Business Fundamentals Certificate

Designed for non-Smeal majors, the Smeal College Business Fundamentals Certificate offers the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to enhance your degree and prepare you for the future.

Legal Environment of Business (LEBUS) Minor

The LEBUS minor presents students with a structured study of the statutory and common law governing the business environment. Students in this program have the opportunity to learn advanced legal subject matter, including business organization structures, employment law, property law, commercial transactions, intellectual property, environmental law, and government regulation. Content is framed around the organization and support of complex business enterprises from a legal perspective. This includes complex legal transactions, litigation support and avoidance, and the development of enterprises. The emphasis on the complex nature of legal organization formation, transactions, and litigation support is provided through a rigorous selection of business law and core business courses.

Real Estate Analysis & Development (READ) Certificate

The Real Estate Analysis & Development Certificate is designed to prepare students for opportunities to interact with the real estate industry. Students will gain an understanding of the complexities of real estate resources, which will assist them in both personal and professional investment decisions. Skills that will be enhanced include negotiations, investment analysis, enhanced financial techniques, and institutional knowledge of the real estate industry.
