Thompson Harner

Thompson Harner has been with Ernst & Young for over five years. He graduated with Accounting, International Business and French B.S. degrees from Pennsylvania State University. During his first three years at Ernst & Young, Thompson performed auditing work at a market leading hospitality company focusing on public filing and SOX compliance audits. In 2007, Thompson transitioned to Ernst & Young's Advisory Service group where he focuses on financial accounting related services, including SOX readiness at a leading utility company. While at Ernst & Young, Thompson has also worked on the US Presidential Inaugural Committe Audit, a variety of employee benefit plan audits, agreed upon procedures, case receipts and disbursements audits. In addition to his client serving roles, he plays an active role in the firm's inclusiveness program acting as the Mid-Atlantic Area local leader for Beyond (Ernst & Young's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies Group). He is also an active participant in on-campus recruiting efforts including office visit interviews and summer internship programs.
