Jennifer Hunter
Jennifer Hunter serves as Vice President, Corporate Responsibility & Stakeholder Relations for Altria Client Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altria Group, Inc. She has held this position since April 2008. In her current position, she leads the following functional areas that provide services to Altria Group and its operating companies: Corporate Contributions, Youth Smoking Prevention & Corporate Responsibility, Corporate Responsibility & Public Affairs Research, Stakeholder Relations & Issues Development.
Previously, Jennifer served as Vice President, Youth Smoking Prevention and Corporate Responsibility Programs, for Philip Morris USA Inc. This role included developing PM USA’s strategies and communications to address stakeholder expectations of a responsible tobacco company, leadership of internal communications and pmusa.com. She also led PM USA’s efforts to help prevent underage tobacco use and help adult smokers who decided to quit be more successful. In May 2004, Jennifer joined the Youth Smoking Prevention and Corporate Responsibility department as Senior Director, Corporate Responsibility Communications and Cessation Support, where she contributed to PM USA’s efforts to communicate about the health effects of its products in addition to Youth Smoking Prevention communications and Cessation Support.
Jennifer joined PM USA in 1994 as a Territory Sales Manager in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She advanced through the sales organization, holding the positions of Sales Development Associate, Unit Manager, Senior Account Manager, District Manager and Section Sales Director. She currently serves as the chairman of the Altria Companies Employee Community Fund. Jennifer holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Wisconsin.
