Smeal LinkedIn account now a College page

The Smeal Office of Marketing and Strategic Communications recently transitioned the college’s LinkedIn page type from a Company to a School.  For Smeal students and alumni, this means that they can now list Penn State Smeal College of Business as their college or alma mater on the education sections of their LinkedIn profiles. The new page type also includes enhanced features such as an Alumni tab, which allows LinkedIn users to browse information about those who have identified Smeal as their college or alma mater including what companies they work for, in what industries, location, etc. and more. This feature will allow for greater opportunity among our LinkedIn user base to connect with one another. Instructions on how to update your profile are forthcoming.
