Outstanding Young Professional Award Guidelines

Number of Awards

Up to two recipients can be chosen each year, assuming nominees are approved by the selection committee.

Criteria

Nominees should be 35 years of age or younger and demonstrate significant career achievements and/or community service. Nominees must be a graduate of the Smeal College of Business. At-Large Directors of the Smeal Alumni Society Board are not eligible.

Nominations

Nominations are solicited from Smeal faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Selection Committee

The selection committee includes members of the Smeal Alumni Society Board and Smeal’s Director of Alumni Relations.

Timeline

Nominations are due by Friday, October 11, 2024. The award is presented to the recipient in a ceremony during the annual Smeal Alumni Awards program held each spring.
